We asked Zero's mom (Valerie) for some info on the org and why she supports them, here's what she said:
Zero and Val learned about QBSDR through the events CorgiBeachDay and CorgiCon.
These events are an awesome way to learn about breed specific issues and how owners can prevent or treat them.
It's also great to get the word out about rescues and how we can help them help these precious pups.

When QBSDR found him, he was severely overweight and things weren't looking good, but through QBSDR Bruster found someone to adopt him and help him through weight loss.
Valerie wanted to point out that even if you can't afford to adopt the rescues at organizations like QBSDR, you can still volunteer!
QBSDR is the only west coast rescue that's geared specifically to our Corgi pups and we love when an org chooses a specific breed because that means they can focus solely on breed specific issues.
Corgis are a herding dog - so QBSDR is able to focus on socialization with the goal of helping their dogs become less prone to socializing issues or unfriendly-ness.
